We are looking for someone to join our Front Desk/Guest Services team! The Front Desk is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience through all activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

Front Desk duties include:

  • Answer inquiries and provide information to customers.
  • Sell merchandise
  • Receive payments and issue receipts
    Arrange for refunds and credits, and perform daily cash outs.
  • Receive program application forms, process information, and maintain booking records.
  • Provide support to all departments.
  • Perform general office duties.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven record in customer service.
  • This person will be a highly motivated team player with attention to detail and strong people skills. The candidate should have a healthy and active lifestyle, and knowledge of cross country skiing is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment with an emphasis on timelines and building and maintaining positive relationships.

Seasonal, part-time. January – March (weather dependent – snow required).

Camp Hardwood is Hiring a Camp Director

Camp Hardwood is looking for an enthusiastic leader to join our team.
Camp Director job includes but not limited to:

– Assist in developing camp schedule and programs

– Motivating and supervising camp staff

– Communications with parents, counselors, and management

– Managing camper information and records

– Keeping a thorough record of expenditures

– Supporting the camp staff in the following programming

– Reports to Program Director

– Facilitate Camper drop off and pickup

Successful candidates will have the following skills:

– Experience working with kids

– Management Experience

– Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

– Creative problem solver

– Excels at multi-tasking

– Good observation skills

– Valid class ‘G’ driver’s license

– Enthusiasm

– Will pass vulnerable sector check

Hours:

Part-time: May and June

Full-time weekdays: July and August

We are looking for Nordikids instructors to work for Jan and Feb this winter. Work from 3 to 12 hours per weekend, with kids from ages 5-10. Must know how to cross-country ski and like working with kids.

High school kids can get volunteer hours, parents can exchange for program entry.

November 11th is our last official day of the 2018 Mountain Bike Season!

Last offical day of Mountain bike season

It is that time of year again our 2018 summer season is coming to a close.

This Sunday, November 11th is our last official day of Mountain Bike season.

Come out and enjoy the trails this weekend.

All our trail signs come down on Monday.  If the snow doesn’t stick, you can ride the unsigned trails for only $10 taxes in.
