COVID Assurance Policies
In the event the Government of Ontario, Ministry of Health, and/or other provincial or local Public Health authorities require/force the closure of the regular ski resort operations at Hardwood Ski and Bike for longer than a 14-day consecutive (waiting) period HSB will extend the following:
Season’s Pass Holders and Memberships
Credit towards 2021/22 Ski Season

Credit towards 2021/22 Programs for the missed number of lesson days should we be forced to shut down. Credits will be based off the programming fee minus fixed costs. Example; accessories such as a hat or neck tube.

MISC COVID Information
Season Pass Holders and Ticket Book Users:
There are no cash value refunds or credit for season pass holders or ticket book users. Season passes are valid for the season in which they are sold – length of the season is determined by the weather conditions and acts of God. Seasonal opening and closing dates are not guaranteed.
If Hardwood Ski and Bike cancels a program, a credit towards Hardwood will be given. Hardwood Ski and Bike will provide individuals with a credit less applicable administration fees that can be used as payment to future programs. No cash value refunds will be given.
Individuals wishing to withdraw from a program will receive;
- Full Credit will be issued on presentation of a doctor’s certificate at any time prior to the first day of program in which the participant is enrolled.
- Partial Credit (program fee minus one third of the program cost) will be issued if notification of withdrawal is received 14 days or more prior to the start of the program in which the participant is enrolled.
If Hardwood Ski and Bike cancels an event, a credit towards Hardwood will be given. Hardwood Ski and Bike will provide individuals with a credit less applicable administration fees that can be used as payment to future events. No cash value refunds will be given.

- Partial Credit (event fee minus one third of the event cost) will be issued if notification of withdrawal is received 14 days or more prior to the event in which the participant is registered.
Full refunds will be issued within 14 days of purchase date for unused items with original receipt – tags and packaging included.
Fat Bike refunds will only be administered should fatbiking be closed due to trail conditions. All other rentals are non-refundable. All Rentals must be returned by 4:45pm.
If you do not choose the insurance option you will be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged equipment.
Credit Card securities are required. You will be charged two times the full retail cost of replacement should the equipment not be returned.
Hardwood Ski and Bike, Inc. collects personal information from its participants and uses that information for program development, marketing purposes, contact information and to meet legal obligations.
In addition, Hardwood Ski and Bike may use participant and guest photos and/or videos from club activities for promotional purposes including brochures and websites.
In all circumstances, Hardwood Ski and Bike will endeavour to limit the collection of personal information to only those items that are necessary to provide the best service to all members and guests.
Hardwood Ski and Bike Inc. is committed to safeguarding personal information through the use of security standards and procedures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Member personal information will not be sold, leased, rented or otherwise provided to any third party other than those contracted to provide services to Hardwood Ski and Bike.
Registration into events and programs are performed instantly upon the completion of your registration forms and payment.
Hardwood Ski and Bike will administer the purchased programs and services according to our published policies and procedures.
Any related products requiring delivery will be made available for pickup or shipped to the purchaser according to the description.

Hardwood Ski and Bike has in place an Accessible Customer Service Policy and this policy is intended to meet the requirements of the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service, Ontario Regulation 429/07 under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and applies to the provision of goods and services to the public or other third parties, not to the goods themselves.
