TRAIL SHREDDERS 2025  (ages 11-14) Dates: May 24- Aug 16

Saturdays 10am-12pm

Program Objectives:

The objective of our program is to guide youth through a holistic development program, where young riders build skill, confidence, self-esteem, and community, while also organically gaining the understanding of what it means to have a healthy balance in our body and mind through the sport of Mountain Biking.

A question we most commonly ask is: “Where can the bike take you?”  This is our model – By fostering a connection with our bicycle and community in an environment of learning and fun, we allow the bike to be a powerful tool in the development of our personal self, and build the realization that what we learn on the bike can be applied to every aspect of our life, both on and off the trail!

Areas include:

Learning bike handling skills; building physical fitness; developing a positive mindset
Understanding the power of nutrition and proper hydration (both mind and body)
Bike maintenance and why it is important!
Trail building, maintenance and stewardship
Learning how to set personal goals – understanding what we want and why we want it!
Participants are expected to have some experience and comfort on beginner to intermediate trails.
