Radical Riders


This five week learn-to-ride program covers a variety of topics that involve all aspects of riding with a focus on FUNdamentals. Through activities and games, Radical Riders will learn riding techniques such as climbing, descending, obstacles, braking, gearing, and how to properly adjust their bike to fit themselves.

$125 includes trail passes

Radical Riders teens is for young teens with an interest in becoming more skilled on the trails. With a focus on obstacles, corners, and singletrack riding this course will help teens develop the techniques  to be more successful riders.

MOUNTAIN BIKE CAMP (6-13 years of age)
Camp Hardwood provides an exciting  day camp experience. Choose from our Specialized Mountain Bike Camp or the Outdoor Adventures Camp. We offer camp in weekly sessions starting July 3rd and ending August 25th. Theme days, camp games, and lots of outdoor adventures add to the memorable summer experience at Camp Hardwood.

Our Staff
Camp Hardwood employs senior high school and college/university students who possess a strong background in riding, leadership and working with children. The Staff are ready to lead the campers through lots of fun, learning and adventures.

Bring your class for a day of Mountain Biking, Low Ropes, Disc Golf, Orienteering and Human Foosball.  With many activities to choose from your students will be able to explore the trails and challenge themselves with new activities.  For available dates please contact



Team Hardwood-Trek is one of Canada’s largest, longest running, and most successful mountain bike development programs. As a true Active for Life program, our NCCP certified coaches work in partnership with our families to not only develop good athletes, but great citizens too! Try one of our  clinics to improve your mountain bike skills. Our instructors are certified with NCCP and are passionate riders. Clinics are offered Saturday or Sunday mornings at10:00am. A trail pass is included in the cost of the clinic. 3-6 participants/clinic.

Private Lessons

Private Lessons

Individuals and groups can sign up for private lessons with a trained instructor. Each lesson is 45 minutes and can be booked between 10:00am and 3:00pm. All lessons must be booked three days in advance over the phone, and a trail pass must be purchased.

$21 for each additional person



Hardwood Ski and Bike invites women to one of our four women’s clinics. These clinics will offer instruction for beginner and intermediate recreational riders. Choose from our 3 hour clinics or come and ride with us for a full day of clinics, yoga and great food.

Gear Up

Gear Up

Bring your riding to the next level. This 4 week program is for adults 17 years of age or older who are comfortable on single track but would like to bring their skill and confidence to the next level. This program runs Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, beginning May 19.

Season Pass holders $95



The Community Initiation Coaching Course is a National Coaching Certified Program (NCCP) for coaches who will primarily work with novice pre-competitive cyclists at the community level. The focus is on FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, and Train to Train development stages of the Long Term Athlete Development model (LTAD). This course is geared towards volunteers, parents, recreational program administrators and counselors. You will require riding experience to enroll in this course.

Hardwood Ski and Bike is situated in the picturesque forests of the picturesque forests of Oro-Medonte which makes it the ideal location to host a corporate outing. Mountain biking, disc golf, volleyball and orienteering will encourage teamwork and communication which are skills that can be transferred back to the workplace.
