Trek Store Canada Cup and Ontario High School Championships Courses Now open for Pre-Riding

The courses for the Trek Store Canada Cup on June 2-3 and for the Scott Ontario High School Mountain Bike championship on May 25 are now marked and open for pre-riding. A valid trail pass or season pass is required.

Entries are still open for both events either on this website or at www.pulseracing.ca.

The Hardwood Thursday Night Disc Golf League starts May 17th and will run every Thursday night starting at 6pm until Thursday September 20th 2012.

Women’s 1 Day Mountain Bike Clinic – May 19th

If you are looking for ways to improve your riding or just interested in learning to ride then this clinic is for you. The one day clinic is for all abilities and the day wraps up with a yoga session to stretch out those muscles.

The clinic also includes group rides throughout the day that let you to practice what you've learned plus lunch and a t-shirt are included!

Radical Riders – For Children 6 to 12

This four week learn-to-ride program covers a variety of topics that involve all aspects of riding with focus on FUNdamentals throughout the program. Great fun for the kids. The Summer program dates are:

Saturdays (May 26th, June 2nd, 9th 16th) 10am – 12pm
Sundays (May 27th June 3rd, 10th, 17th) 10am – 12pm

Trek Wednesday Night Race Series

Mark your calendars and remember that Wednesday is the night of the Trek Wednesday Night Race Series. Races start at 7 pm with registration open at 5 pm. Come and join us at Ontario's most popular and longest running weekly series.

New this Year - we are open until 8 pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. The extending evening hours start May 1st.

Our regular hours will be Monday and Tuesday - 9 am to 5 pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 9 am to 8 pm and Saturday, Sunday and holidays - 8:30 am to 5pm.

Pan Am Games coming to Hardwood Ski and Bike in 2015

Hardwood Ski and Bike will be the host of the mountain bike events for the Pan Am Games in 2015!

The Pan Am Games are coming to Toronto and the surrounding region, a victory sure to kick start major investments in sports facilities. The announcement from Guadalajara was made on November 6. The bid from Toronto beat out two other bids from Lima, Peru and Bogata, Columbia. The event will run from July 10-26 in 2015.

Hardwood Ski and Bike was selected to host the mountain bike events. While it is too early to talk about the ramifications for the facility there is sure to be some major upgrades to trails, lodges and amenities. We are proud to be the hosts of this event and look forward to showing the Americas our great trails and facilities. This will also be very positive for all of the mountain bike riders and skiers who make Hardwood their home for riding and xc skiing.
