Tristan has been out in the BP400 (We think its best he stays in there from now on, heres why – Ice Ballet ) and has groomed Torino, Nagano, Sochi, Meadowlands and Wiggly Extension. The base is fairly soft, so he decided not to take any chances on some of the bigger hills. They are still in good shape from yesterday, and all trails are open. Skiing will be “spring like” today with soft corn snow. There is some small sticks and debris mixed into the snow from the ice storm, but the skiing conditions are actually pretty good. If you are very sensitive about keeping the base of your skis on pure snow, then you may want to consider rock skis, although most people are skiing on their good skis. The snowshoe trails are open. Time to keep building that base. Keep checking here for updates.
****It is very icy on the side roads, and in and around the chalet and parking lots. Please be very careful today.****
We will now be open Mon-Fri from 8am til 8pm under the lights of our night loop. We will also allow skiing with a headlamp on Torino.
Looking forward to a great winter! #ThinkWinter #ExperienceWinter
**Please note that all of our trails are one way. Make sure that you adhere to these rules to keep our trails safe.**
