ONTARIO ARTISTS and Athletes join together in a day of Entertainment, adventure, and Family fun at HARDWOOD SKI AND BIKE on JULY 8th, 2017 Local effort encourages families to get outdoors and play while raising funds for Anti-Violence Education Services (AV YOUTH).

ORO-MEDONTE, ON – Hardwood Ski and Bike invites everyone to join in the celebration of Canada’s rich and vibrant culture in the lush green forests and miles of exciting trails in Oro-Medonte. CMA-Ontario’s Rising Star nominee Ben Hudson headlines the festival stage, and athletes from across the province run the trails in their choice of 8k, 20k or youth races.

On July 8th from 9am – 5pm we mark Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations by creating the inaugural ‘Strong Proud and Free’ festival and family fun day at Hardwood.  Join us in celebrating our unique Canadian identity as active citizens and lovers of live music. Hardwood Ski and Bike has selected AV YOUTH as their official charity, and funds raised will help them be the change the world wants to see, reducing violence in local communities through education and outreach.

Bring the family for a full day of fun, including live music, guided hikes, mountain biking, great food and drinks and so much more!  Scales Nature Park will be on site providing hands-on reptile education, and headliner Ben Hudson, and our solid lineup of regional talent are sure to keep you entertained.  Play alongside your kids or sign them up for our on-site day camp to make new friends for a whole or half day and enjoy our licensed beer garden alongside the festival stage.  Also included in the line-up are TradesmenNoolandsTori HathawayKasey KohringVinyl AmbushBlue Opaline and Marco Galloro.

Hardwood Ski and Bike has been serving the community of Oro-Medonte for over 30 years and has a strong commitment to building strong and healthy families and elite athletes alike in a place where everyone can play in a safe and healthy atmosphere.
